All About Me!
Hello Everyone,
I would love to welcome all parents and children to the new school year of 2014-15! Many of you do not know me but some do. For the parents that do know me, I am so fortunate to have your younger child in my class and I hope to make it and exciting year. For those of you that do not know me, I look forward to working with you to help your child be successful and make academic growth this coming year.
I want to tell you a little about myself. I love teaching and searching new 21st century lessons constantly that will engage and excite the children. I am a grandmother of two beautiful grandsons. The eldest will be six on July 31st and is entering third grade. My youngest grandson is 6 years old and loves school and will be in first grade this year. He asks his teacher for homework daily. I also have two wonderful sons. I have been married for 35 years to my husband and I still enjoy going out and doing things together. Family is very important to me and I know it is to you too. This will be my 10th year at "The Best School In Town." I taught 2 years as an Inclusion teacher K-6 in Special Ed. and this will be my 8th year in First Grade.
