No Place for Hate Zone
We had a school wide activity where the fifth and sixth graders came around to the entire campus to read a book and do an activity that encouraged friendship and love. Students went in small groups to conduct the lessons. There was a discussion that followed the read aloud and an activity that was student led. Our campus is a designated no place for hate campus. We have three campus wide projects throughout the year that encourages and promotes this. SEL (social and emotional learning ) learning is taught throughout the year. These were the students that visited our class. They did a terrific job. After their activity, the children shared their finished product on the document camera with their peers.
