Penguins
This week we learned many facts about penguins. We read fiction and nonfiction books. We made anchor charts and organized our data. We used the information we learned to write creative narrative stories. It was a week of tying in Language Arts and Science together. We learned about the different types of penguins their characteristics, habitats, food preferences, predators, and other cool facts. Then we ended the week with a craft. I almost forgot we also dressed in black and white. Please see the pictures below.
We were being silly. There is a better picture of us.
Aren't my penguins just adorable?
I will post more as we continue to complete our projects. Please be sure to check out the children's creative stories. The prompt was you received a box and you opened it and out popped a penguin. The stories are rather cute and did you check the penmanship on some of them. It is definitely neater than my writing.
